 FAQs

Here are the answers to the questions that may be on your mind. If you have others, please reach out using the form above, and we’ll figure things out together.

  • The Supported Mom Initiative groups are for anyone who identifies as a mom and lives within Central Massachusetts! Each group is tailored to a specific stage of the early motherhood experience so that the conversation can focus on the topics most relevant to moms in that stage. If you have questions about which group is the right fit for you, please email me at tina@supportedmom.com

  • All groups are facilitated by me, Tina Gauthier. I’m a Grafton-based mom of two and a NAPS™ Certified Mom’s Survival Group Leader. The certification involved a six-month course led by labor and delivery nurses, lactation consultants, and the founders of NAPS™. I plan to bring on more group leaders in 2024! If you’re curious about getting involved as a leader, email me at tina@supportedmom.com.

  • All weekly meetings of all support groups are held at Clarity Chiropractic in Grafton, Massachusetts. The locations vary for Monthly Meetups. We have moms from all over Central MA joining us and hope to expand our session times and locations in the future based on interest.

  • Yes, pre-crawlers are welcome at any Supported Mom meeting!

  • Let that baby do their baby thang! You'll never find a more supportive group when it comes to diaper blow-outs, nursing, or surprise spit-up fiascos. Our meeting space has a changing table, extra diapers, breastfeeding pillows, a bouncer, and more to relieve the stress of leaving home with your newborn.

  • We will miss you, of course, but we understand that things happen! You'll still get the weekly resource email that recaps the topic we explored.

  • Working Mamas League is an excellent fit for moms with slightly older littles (newborn through age 5) who want help balancing motherhood and their other jobs! Beyond that, our monthly Gather & Grow Mama Meetups are for all interested moms, though we focus on topics most relevant to moms with at least one child 5 or under. Oh, and be on the lookout for free quarterly Toddler Mom Meetups and a new Mindful Mamas group soon as well!

  • I'm always seeking feedback from moms about topics they want to learn about. You can catch me at a meeting or email me at tina@supportedmom.com

  • Each group session follows a curriculum developed by the co-founders of NAPS™, two moms who spent over a decade as labor and delivery nurses. At our weekly meetings, we check in about how the week has gone and explore topics directly relevant to your motherhood stage. You'll make new friends, grow in confidence as a mom, and feel like a rockstar for leaving the house and doing something to take care of YOU.
